All Out Cricket magazine (05/11)

With the season now in full swing and the red ball going round corners, we’ve put together one of our most star-studded issues ever. Taking the new cherry we’ve got Andrew Flintoff and James Anderson. Fred invites a slightly awestruck Andy Afford into his country pad to discuss life after cricket, while Jimmy lets us into his world with another wry, dry-as-a-bone and utterly brilliant diary piece.

To knock the shine off, we’ve got Ian Bell letting his hair down after work in an ‘Extreme Batting’ masterclass. (You think you’ve got some idea what this is about? Okay. Well you’re wrong…). And playing a few shots as always in the middle order we have Kevin Pietersen, talking us through the next stage of his ceaselessly fascinating career.

Elsewhere we’ve got Swanny swigging merrily from the lower order in a brilliant new feature called ‘A Drink With…’, Alec Stewart taking the half-chances as he looks back on the definitive moments from his great career, Rob Key punching off the front foot, Mike Selvey seaming it away, and Isa Guha cleaning up the tail. All in all that’s not a bad side.
