The weekly’s publisher, Hubert Burda, will donate 5p from every issue sole to breast cancer charity Breakthrough.

A campaign targeting 40,000 readers will urge them to visit their local independent shop to pick up a copy and retailers are being encouraged to make customers aware of the drive.

The title mixes celebrity news and real-life stories.
